School can be a challenge for kids with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Treatment can help. There are also things parents can do to support kids with ADHD. Here are just a few.

4 ways to help kids with ADHD

See the doctor regularly. The doctor will monitor how your child's medications are working.

Help your child get organized. Break tasks into small steps. Schedule short breaks.

Reduce distractions. Create a dedicated homework space, such as at a desk or a table, away from TV.
